Contracted books
Where a writer has entered into a binding publishing arrangement requiring a book to remain on Litdom for a specified period, that contractual obligation may prevent the book from being removed before the agreed period ends.

It is important to note that:
- Account deletion: the user can request deletion of their Litdom account.
- Personal data: personal information is deleted/anonymized where applicable, subject to lawful retention requirements.
- Publishing contract: deleting the account does not terminate a separate publishing agreement.
- Contracted book: where the agreement requires the book to remain on Litdom for a defined term, Litdom can continue hosting/distributing that book for that contractual period.
- Copyright: the writer still owns the copyright; the contractual publishing rights are what allow Litdom to keep using the work during the agreed term.
- After the contract ends: removal is handled according to the publishing agreement.
